When leaves leave the tree

When leaves leave the tree

Autumn, with its falling leaves and broken branches, inspired me to create a new series of artworks. The word ‘leaves’ itself holds a deeper meaning, as the leaves ‘leave’ the tree, signaling the natural cycle of life. What may first appear as loss—the branches and leaves falling from the tree—is in fact a necessary reset. It’s a metaphor for life: loss doesn’t always signify something negative. The strong trunk and roots remain deeply anchored in the rich soil, ready to nourish new growth as spring approaches. The cycle of the leaf mirrors the life of the tree, with each phase playing a vital role in renewal.
