Make art not war!

Title: “Make Art, Not War!”

In dynamic hues of bright pink and light blue, my graffiti tag-style artwork bursts with expressive energy. Crafted on May 5th, 2014, a significant day in the Netherlands celebrated as Liberation Day, this piece passionately embodies my quote, “Make Art, Not War.” It’s a heartfelt call, drawing inspiration from the days in the eighties when I (Toshy) tagged and spray-painted graffiti on the streets of The Netherlands. This graffiti style serves as a nod to those earlier experiences, connecting with the rebellious spirit of Graffiti and Streetart as a powerful call to the world.

The deliberate choice of lively pink and light blue colors radiates a positive energy, symbolizing the joy of freedom. The graffiti tag-style, rooted in my personal history, adds an authentic touch, emphasizing the act of creative defiance against the destructive forces of war.

As a personal creation, this artwork is a tribute to Liberation Day, serving as a poignant reminder of the transformative potential of art. It stands as an invitation for everyone to contribute to the movement of creating uplifting and constructive elements in life. May this piece inspire others, drawing on the rebellious spirit of graffiti, to recognize the profound impact of art in shaping a world free from the burdens of conflict.
